Wireless Receiver spacer

QuietCare is a highly effective early detection/early warning system for health, homecare, residential and social service agencies that assist older people and people with physical disabilities to remain independent.

Small, unobtrusive, strategically-placed wireless sensors monitor 24 hours a day 7 days a week the Activities of Daily Living of clients/patients/residents.

QuietCare establishes individualised baselines for each person and provides alerts when significant deviations in behaviour occur. For example, early detection of changes in night-time bathroom usage, sleeping patterns, or eating habits can enable care professionals to intervene in a more timely way thereby avoiding crises and reducing the need for emergency intervention or hospitalisations.

The following are a few examples of how some organisations are using the system:

bullet A community health service deploys QuietCare to its intermediate care patients, thus enabling individuals to return home earlier following a period of hospitalisation, whilst continuing to monitor the well-being of the individual.

bullet A homecare agency has deployed the system to complement its in-home services thereby providing 24 hour a day safety monitoring to its clients.

bullet An extra-care housing facility has improved its capacity to monitor the well-being of its residents using QuietCare.

bullet Social service care managers are using QuietCare as a way of monitoring the condition and needs of their clients, thereby avoiding crisis intervention and reducing the need for care home and/or hospital admission.

spacer The following are four examples of QuietCare activity information screens representative of the types of information professionals can access about their caseload and individual clients. These individual web services are password protected to ensure that only you – or designated carers – have access. The information provides you with a highly effective Early Detection/Early Warning System to help you safeguard your older client/patient/resident.
